Placing a Click & Collect order

Order online

Add your items to the basket as normal and choose 'Click & Collect' from the delivery options.

Choose a store

Enter your postcode to find your nearest store.

Complete your order

Follow the rest of the checkout process to complete your order.

Email confirmation

You will receive an Order Confirmation Email to confirm your order is placed. Your order will then be processed by your chosen store. We aim to have your Click & Collect order ready in as little as 1 hour*


*Click & Collect is only available during store opening times and subject to availability. We aim to have all orders ready within 1 hour – please note during busy periods this may take longer. Please await your collection email before travelling to the store. Orders received outside of these times will be available to collect within 1 hour of the store reopening.

Collect your order

Please bring your confirmation email or order number with you and collect your order from your chosen store. If you do not collect your order within 10 days your order will be cancelled, and you will be issued with a full refund excluding the Click & Collect charge automatically. Please note, your refund may take 3-5 days to appear in your account.

Faulty Goods

Contact us by emailing online@cardsdirect.co.uk at your earliest convenience with your order number, which can be found on the invoice or in the confirmation email we sent at the time of purchase. Please include details of the problem and photos of the faulty goods. Cards Direct reserves the right to ask customers to provide photographic evidence of faulty goods at our discretion. Whilst the products are in your possession it is your responsibility to ensure they are kept safe and available to collect. On receipt of the returned goods, Cards Direct will arrange to replace or refund your product as you prefer. Alternatively, please take your purchase into your local Card Direct store, along with the original invoice, where the product can be exchanged or refunded. Find your nearest Cards Direct

Cancellation

If you do not collect your order within 10 days or cancel your order after notification that the order is ready to collect, Contact us by calling the store using the telephone number shown in your order confirmation email, or by emailing online@cardsdirect.co.uk with your order number, which can be found on the invoice or in the confirmation email we sent at the time of purchase. You will be issued with a full refund excluding the Click & Collect charge. Please note, your refund may take 3-5 days to appear in your account.

Refunds

Items purchased using the Click & Collect service are subject to our Instore refund policy.

Instore Refund Policy

Items purchased in any of our stores can be returned in their original, unused condition, with the till receipt or Click & Collect order confirmation email within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange excluding any Click & Collect charges. In store purchases cannot be returned via the online process.


Please note that inflated balloons & personalised items purchased in store are excluded from this policy. Your statutory rights are not affected.


Your item will be refunded using the payment method you used to place your order. We are not able to refund through any other payment option. We will make the refund as soon as possible, but this may take up to 3-5 working days for the payment to get to your account due to bank processes and procedures.

How much does Click & Collect cost?

Click & Collect is FREE when you spend over £10. A £1.99 handling charge applies to orders under £10.

How do I know that my order is ready to collect?

Following the order confirmation email, you will receive a further email to confirm when your order is ready for collection. Please await your collection email before travelling to the store.

Do I need ID to collect my order?

No ID is needed, simply bring your order number or confirmation email. If you don't have either of those, please provide some ID (Passport, Driving Licence, payment card).

Can someone else collect my order on my behalf?

Yes, someone else can pick up your parcel if they have the order number that is sent to you.

What happens if I want to return something?

Items purchased using the Click & Collect service can be returned to any of our stores in their original, unused condition, with the Click & Collect order confirmation email within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange excluding any Click & Collect charges.

Will I need to bring my own carrier bags?

We’re committed to reducing our use of single use plastic and will not offer carrier bags when ordering via the Click & Collect service. Please bring your own bags when collecting your order or alternatively you can purchase carrier bags in store.
